Our lead glasses are from world’s leading manufacturers. We represent a comprehensive variety of all types of radiation protection eyewear - non-prescription, prescription and fitover prescription lenses frames - to suit many diagnostic and medical imaging applications, designed for maximum comfort, weight distribution, and style.

All lead glasses conform with AS/ NZS 4543.3:2000 and ALL major global standards: IEC 61331-3:2014, ASTM F2547 and DIN 6867-2, independently tested and certified against a full range of energy levels; 50 to 150 kVp. Our lead glasses assure maximum protection against harmful radiation in hazardous work environments, and we offer the highest attenuation ratings on the market.

The majority of our radiation glasses are available with prescription lenses which can stylishly accommodate all prescriptions up to a certain correction level to suit all specific prescriptions - single, bifocal and progressive vision.

Deutsch Medical Pty Ltd supports Australasian Radiation Protection Society Inc (ARPS) which is a professional society of members engaged in one or more aspects of radiation protection. The ARPS is an Associate Society of the International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA). The Australian Radiation Protection Society was founded in 1975 and has more than 250 members engaged in radiation protection activities. Members are engaged in a variety of activities designed to ensure the safe use of both ionising and non-ionising radiation for a wide variety of applications, in medicine, pure and applied science, industry and mining.

Australasian College of Physical Scientists & Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM)

Deutsch Medical Pty Ltd supports The Australasian College of Physical Scientists & Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) which has a mission to advance services and professional standards in medical physics and biomedical engineering for the benefit and protection of the community. ACPSEM is a not for profit association of members who have careers in medical physics (either in the radiation oncology, radiology and/or nuclear medicine), biomedical engineering or radiopharmaceutical science. Their members are based in Hospitals, National Health organisations, private clinics, universities and in industry.
